Documenting School Community Arts Projects
As part of the outreach for Arts Education Conference (AEC) and Asia-Pacific Symposium on Music Education Research (APSMER) 2013, MOE has documented some school community arts projects that engage students, teachers, parents and stakeholders in a local community. About 30 schools have since submitted information on their school projects and these submissions take on diverse forms of performances, exhibitions and collaborative arts ventures, showcasing the myriad ways schools have been using arts to engage students and the community alike.
This documentation project aims to show a glimpse of how schools are contributing to Singapore’s flourishing arts and culture scene as well as to celebrate the impact of the arts within our community!
