On the 18th of May 2013, Mayflower Primary School came together to present their talents in the arts through a partnership with Yio Chu Kang Community Centre.
The heARTS in the Community interactive arts carnival was organized through months of hard work. The carnival consisted of non-stop bustling activities from formal onstage performances by the performing arts CCA groups, informal busking performances by pupils, manga photography, tile mosaic art, drama booths to community drum circles.
Staff and pupils came together with passion and conviction, and demonstrated unity in purpose to serve the community. It was also a meaningful process to have hosted mothers and children under TOUCH Community Services.
